The judges were a mix of people who would genuinely know what they were looking at, and trade publication writers, who, respectfully, make almost zero sense as judges. Writing about and actually doing that sort of work are poles apart. Oh well.
Congratulations to the winners and the smart companies who understand it’s useful to take the time to submit entries. Award-winning is a very useful phrase when it comes to marketing.
