Seenspire Heading To Vegas For Three Creative Awards, Less Than Year After Opening Up
February 4, 2014 by Dave Haynes
I’m looking forward to meeting a bunch of people next week that I know by phone, e-mail and Skype, but have never talked to in person. One of them is Sam Mekonen, a co-founder of Seenspire.
It’s a Belgian company that does a really interesting, somewhat rare blend of automated content feeds for signage networks, and original strategy and marketing creative for clients. The company only officially hung out its shingle last spring, but Mekonen is heading to Las Vegas because Seenspire is up for three golds at the Digital Signage Expo content awards.
One finalist nomination is for the automated feeds, done in ways I haven’t otherwise seen in this sector and at the high level set by the great stuff Screenfeed (a Sixteen:Nine sponsor) keeps putting out. Another honor is for the terrific, clean digital messaging board at Eindhoven Airport in the Netherlands. The final one is for a brand launch for a shoe manufacturer.
I chat quite a bit with Mekonen, and he indicated he’s taking the long flight to meet some existing partners and resellers, and develop some new ones. He’ll be at the mixer and on the show floor. Look him up.
