Steve Harris of Cineplex sent this little story and pic from a recent road trip.

I was hanging around the Charlotte airport waiting for a connecting flight when I noticed this sticker on a digital sign that was mounted beside a fast food place  … think sausage, biscuits & gravy.   The content was a repetitive video loop of food porn, with loud, annoying AUDIO extolling the virtues of their offerings.  I’m sure the sticker was put there as a direct result of people trying to find the volume button.   The screen is located directly beside where people would line up to order.

So:

Option 1: Threaten your customers.

Option 2: Think about it, and don’t annoy the hell out of your customers (and staff) with audio.
