Going off the grid for a week and change

This is my last post for a week or so. The image gives you a good idea of where I will be and what I will be doing. I’m not bringing anything electronic beyond my MP3 player and beloved noise-cancelling headphones, so forget about reaching me. If asked what I do, it’ll be: “I do consulting.” That’s it. That’s all.

Once back, some nice changes are coming. I have been fiddling about with a parallel site done in WordPress and it looks very nice, and is infinitely easier to use than Joomla. I just need to spend the time one evening to migrate directories and fix some images and links that are hard-coded and will be broken when I do the move.

I’m also going to take a very modest amount of advertising, with the clear understanding that ads don’t equal more, better play. My pressDOOH clients have been uniformly fantastic in not once asking or expecting work I do for them means it makes this blog. It’s not a news site, and there are lots of great online spots for news.

So, back in a week. If you need me before I split, please send a note over next two days (dealing with end of college year for daughter on Friday).
